Teaching Kitchen Laboratory
"The doctor of the future will no longer treat the human frame with drugs, but rather will cure and prevent disease with nutrition."
~ Thomas Edison
We realize that preparing healthy foods is a learning process and we are here to help you.
Our teaching kitchen laboratory offers nutrition education and cooking classes in-person, virtual or hybrid delivery options.
Classes are offered as single or series of 4-10 classes and can be customized on subjects of interests and can be 1-2 hours in length.
Classes can be held in your office facility, home, church, outside or in our kitchen (you do not need to have a kitchen to host classes).
Most class topics provide attendees with a nutrition video lecture and quiz, nutrition handouts and booklets, recipes of healthy plant-based food that is delicious and easy to prepare, a cooking demonstration with samples of food in a supportive group environment.
Topics covered- Label reading, grocery shopping/tour, food plan, recipe development, flavor profiles, seasonings and herbs, food prep, storage and safety, practical culinary skills and techniques.
These classes are practical, hands-on introduction to transitioning to a whole food, plant-based lifestyle that is created by the Physician’s Committee for Responsible Medicine.
